Among the dignitaries in attendence were the Dowa District Youth Officer, Deputy Minister of Youth Services, Peace Corps Heath Sector Director, 12 Local Chiefs, 15 Group Village Headmen, and at least 200 local community members.

Thanks to your relentless support, the people of Dzoole finally have a heart for their community. The Youth Center provides facilities for a myriad of Government sponsored training programs, offices for comunity leaders, meeting space for youth services, a library for students, and a discrete HIV/AIDS testing facility.

Now that I am back in the United States for a while, I hope to continue using The Brick Foundation as a vehicle for pursuing similar projects sponsored by Peace Corps Volunteers throughout Africa. For those with thank you letters and gifts still outstanding, rest asured, we have not forgetten about your generous contributions. We will be reconciling all acounts in the very near future.
